For this recipe you need Szechuan Sauce. It is a hot and spicy sauce that originated in Sichuan province in southwest China. It has a complex and bold combination of flavors, with a nice balance of spiciness and savory flavor to it.

Lou Gan Ma Fried Chilli Oil

Ingredients for the Szechuan Sauce

  1. Sesame oil and soya sauce -1 teaspoon each

  2. Chilli Oil, a good choice would be Lou Gan Ma chilli oil which you can buy from Amazon or any Chinese supermarket in your area. - 1 tablespoon

  3. Black Chinese Vinegar or balsamic vinegar.
    - 1 tablespoon

  4. Handfull of chopped green onions and fine ginger slivers.

  5. Brown sugar - 1 teaspoon (optional).

Make sauce with the above proportions.
