WizFolio was developed by Casey Chan and his team in 2012.  It was developed as a comprehensive research paper management application.  At that time it was the first web based application with the look and feel of a desktop application. It is capable of right click, drag & drop and scrolling functions. It has a highly responsive interface capable of rapid scrolling.  WizFolio has a 3 panel interface very much like the desktop Microsoft Outlook. WizFolio although fully web based  is almost indistinguishable from a desktop application.   

WizFolio was acquired by iGroup, a large Asian publisher and renamed EEWOWW.  The product is scheduled to be re-released as CiteReady in September 2020.
